How to configure mCashPoint Pin Pad

Step 1: Download App on Google Play Store with Android Device

If you don’t have the app already, download it from the Play Store. It is generally recommended to have the latest version installed directly from Google Play Store.

To download the app,

Locate and tap the Play Store icon on your Android Device

Locate Google Play App on Android Device

Search for mCashPoint on Google Play Store

Search for mCashPoint on Google Play

Install the mCashPoint Application

Step 2: Pair the Pin Pad to the Android Device using Bluetooth

The Pin Pad requires a Bluetooth connection to your android phone to work.

Navigate to phone settings on your android device

  • Swipe down from the top of the screen.
  • Touch and hold Bluetooth

Pair the Pin Pad (Name is Serial Number)

  • Tap Pair new device
    • If you don’t find “Pair new device”, check under “Available devices” or tap More > Refresh
  • Tap the name of the Bluetooth device you want to pair with your device. The name should be the serial number written on the back of your Pin Pad.

Click on the serial number in the application.

Step 3: Input activation code into the application

To proceed, you would need an activation code which can be gotten easily by contacting our office. Our staff are always ready to assist you.

Input activation code in the app and click Proceed

After the success screen, click Continue

Step 4: Enter Username and Password

Input the username given to you by us. The default password is 123456. Click on login.

On the next screen, input the default password “123456”, followed by your new six (6) digit password. This would be your Admin Password. Please ensure that the password is kept safe. See recommendations

Step 5: Create POS Account in the App

Click on Create POS Account

Fill in the required information and click on Proceed

Next, enter the username and four (4) digit pin and click on Login

Step 6: Allow access to the app

The app requires some android permissions to work. Click on Allow on the dialogue screen that pops up.

That’s It! You can now proceed to perform transactions with the mCashPoint App and Pin Pad, such as Withdrawals and Transfers.
