How much start-up capital is required in my agent account?

You are free to decide how much to use as start-up capital. But we recommend you have a minimum of ₦100,000.00

Can I operate from anywhere in Nigeria?

Yes, you can operate from anywhere in Nigeria with your agent account

Do I get branding materials as a new mCashPoint Agent?

Yes! mCashPoint provides branding materials once you sign up as our agent

Do I get trained as a new mCashPoint agent?

Yes. Once your account has been fully set up, an mCashPoint sub-super-agent will be assigned to train you on how mCashPoint Agents operate extensively.

What documents do I need to become an agent?
  • Your Registration Form
  • Utility/Nepa Bill
  • Verifiable ID card
  • Next of Kin ID card BVN
  • Passport Photograph
Why is BVN required for agent banking?

The Bank Verification Number (BVN) is used to confirm that your personal information submitted is valid for proper KYC documentation.

How can I register on mCashpoint Platform?

What should I do if my account shows “Invalid Access Token”?

Easy, just log out of your application and log in as admin.

I just changed my phone, how do I get my account running again?
Follow the steps below:
  • Download the application.
  • Request or Generate an activation code.
  • Log into your account using your username and password.
  • Pair your phone to your pin pad.
How can I get an activation code?

You can contact us to send you an activation code or generate the activation code yourself using the steps below:

  • Login using your username and admin password
  • Click on the menu button on the top left corner
  • Click on agent
  • Click on account
  • Click on Get Activation code
How do I get my statement of account?

To get your statement of account, kindly send us an email or a message on Whatsapp.

Can I operate one agent simultaneously in different locations?

As an mCashPoint Agent, you can create user accounts which can be used at other locations.

Is the agent account transferable?

No. Unfortunately, agent accounts are non-transferable.


Do I need a data subscription on my pin pad?

No, because you don’t need a sim card for your pinpad to work.

How much paper roll do I need to get my Pin Pad working?
You don’t need a paper roll to use the Pin Pad, as the platform already offers the option of E-receipt for you and your customer.
My customer was debited for an unsuccessful transaction, what do I do?

Inform your customer to go to their bank to fill a dispense error form.

What do I do if my pin pad is not automatically pairing to my phone when I'm trying to perform withdrawals?

To get your statement of account, kindly send us an email or a message on Whatsapp.

Redownload keys following the steps below:

  • Login into your account
  • Click on “Account”
  • Click on “Settings”
  • Click on “Redownload Keys”

Note: Ensure that your pin pad is switched on during this process.


How do I resolve my unsuccessful Transfers, Bill Payments and Airtime Top-ups?

Send a screenshot of the transaction to us via Whatsapp, and it will be resolved in 30 minutes.

Do I need my pin pad to perform all kinds of transactions?

No, you only need the pin pad for cash withdrawals.
